This policy explains how JCC Capital Limited (trading as Birdie Said, "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit birdiesaid.com or send us an enquiry.
Who we are

What we collect
- Enquiry details. When you use the enquiry form: your name, email address, company or brand name, the services you are interested in, your budget range (optional) and your message.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we keep the message and your address.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider may log your IP address and basic device and browser details to keep the site secure and working.
- Analytics data. Only if you click "Allow analytics": Google Analytics records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details and how you found the site, using cookies.
- Your cookie choice. We store your cookie preference in your browser so we do not keep asking.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and take steps you ask for before entering a contract. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interests in running our business.
- To keep the website secure and working. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the cookie policy page.
- To send marketing emails. We only do this if you have agreed to it, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and handle enquiries, such as hosting, form handling and email providers: Netlify (website hosting), Formspree (enquiry form), Google (email and, with your consent, analytics) and ImprovMX (email forwarding). They may only use it to provide their service to us.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as an adequacy decision or approved standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for 12 months from our last contact with you, or longer if we start working together and need records for contractual, tax or legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. To do any of these, email hello@birdiesaid.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
